Boy Scout Court Of Honors

Court of Honor is a family event where everyone in the family can share in the celebration of your scout’s advancement.  For major rank advancement parents are honored for their involvement in their scout’s effort and success.  Troop 14 is only beginning its traditions and we know that your support and presence at any of our events and activities brings great pride and a sense of sharing the success to all our scouts.

This page will offer links and ideas for Court of Honors.  It will include sample ceremonies, props and other paraphernalia for successful, meaningful and fun Courts.

Invocation or Initiation Ceremony This is a good ceremony for welcoming one or more scouts into the troop.  It can be used at the joining meeting or at their first Court to welcome them in front of all the parents.
Joining of the ranks This ceremony is more of a general theme that can be embellished as needed.  Sections can be left out if there are no scouts of that rank or the part can be left in simply to honor those of that rank.
